Cannabidiol, more popularly known as CBD, is a cannabinoid that has officially worked its plant-based magic into our lattes, makeup, bath bombs, and basically every other product that promotes everyday wellness… including intimate lubricants. In other words, it definitely has the potential to become a new favorite addition to your masturbation and/or partnered sex seshes.

According to Chin, it’s worth noting that California has two decades (!) worth of anecdotal evidence that can attest to cannabis’s medical benefits. “This is data we have been sitting on since 1985,” she says. Furthermore, Gaither adds that the cannabis plant has been utilized as a medicinal agent for millennia. “Given the legalization of cannabis for medicinal purposes and recreational use, I anticipate an evolution of novel research in the pharmacokinetics of the substance and its impact on multiple issues affecting bodily function.”
See? Expert(s) confirmed: Yes, CBD lube can be safe, therapeutic, and pleasurable.
Precautions to take before buying CBD lube
Before you go purchasing the first bottle of CBD lube you find from a random website on the internet, Gaither reminds folks to beware that the best products are free of additives and perfumes (which may cause irritation down there) and to know that oil-based lubricants may cause latex condoms to weaken or break.
